Manaslu Treks

Manaslu region might not be on bucketlist of many travelers, but in recent years, it has been gaining popularity. In the peak season, most of trekkers focuses on either Everest or Annapurna making this Manaslu region in a shadow. At Annapurna region, government is developing the roadways to remote areas and classic trekking routes are getting shorter. May be due to these factors, Manaslu has began to evolve as another major trekking region in Nepal. However still it is off the beaten path restricted trekking region with limited number of tourists visiting each year.

Mt. Manaslu is standing tall at more than eight thousand meter elevation and this region lies at Gorkha district of Nepal hosting quite a few trekking trips. As it is a restricted area, special trekking permit is required and every trekkers should follow the defined rules as ordered by the government. Therefore, trekking at Manaslu region is an exclusive opportunity to see the unseen and tell the story that has never been told before. It is also true at once in a while, Manalsu circuit trek is compared with Annapurna circuit trek but there are quite a different in natural sceneries and from other cultural aspects too.
